16th International English Speaking Alcoholics Anonymous Convention in Malta

Dates: Friday March 5th to Sunday March 7th 2027
Venue: Topaz Hotel, St Pauls Bay, Malta (Google Maps Link)
Registration: €25 for the convention or €10 for 1 day
Pre-Registration: Please pre-resgister your interest (no payment necessary) so we can plan ahead for numbers, you can also subscribe to updates which will be sent monthly.
Hotel Booking:
Official rates for booking directly at the Topaz Hotel will be available from 1st October 2026.
Bookings are open on Booking.com (Link is direct tothe hotel page) at very advantageous rates with rooms available for both pre-payment and no payment with free cancellation.
The Topaz Hotel is a 3* Hotel with indoor and outdoor swimming pools and great reviews. There is plenty of alternative accomodation within short walking distance of the Topaz.

Convention Venue:
The convention will have its own entrance and lobby area for tea/coffee/water, literature, convention merch and the registration/help desk.
The main Forum room will seat up to 450 persons theatre style with a stage for the speaker table. PA equipemnt is on hand so everyone can be heard.
Two smaller rooms will be used for Maltese, Italian, Al-Anon, ACA meetings in addition to Yoga and Meditation.
Convention Format:
Friday 5th March: There will be 5 Open English Speaker Meetings of AA in the main forum room and both Maltese, Italian, Al-Anon and ACA meetings in a smaller meeting room. Yoga and meditation meets are also oferred.
Saturday 6th March: There will be 4 Open English Speaker Meetings of AA in the main forum room and both Maltese, Italian, Al-Anon and ACA meetings in a smaller meeting room. Yoga and meditation meets are also oferred. In the evening the main Forum room will be re-arranged to host a Gala Buffet Dinner with free-flowing refreshments (non-alcoholic only) and entertainment will be provided.
Sunday 7th March: There will be 3 Open English Speaker Meetings of AA in the main forum room and both Maltese, and Al-Anon meetings in a smaller meeting room.
We will update the convention format as the convention committee develop the plan.

Bus TD1 Airport to Cirkewwa Ferry Terminal with a stop in St Pauls/Bugibba/
Uber, Bolt and Ecabs all operate with an App which can be downloaded. White Taxis are available from the airport, make sure you pay at the Kiosk for an agreed amount.
